 Round 1, Pick 23
#23 Kevin Minter MLB LSU
Ogletree has been climbing, so I go with Kevin Minter ( ILB, LSU) Solid interior presence for years to come. Kiper calls him a tackling machine and I couldn’t have said it better myself. Range, sits well in the box, and will play every down.
 Round 2, Pick 21
#52
Eric Reid FS LSU
I stay with eric reid (S, LSU). He’s climbing a little lately, but he’s perfect in MN.
    Round 3, Pick 23
#83
David Quessenberry G/T San Jose State
I would’ve taken Larry Warford, but I believe he will be gone. Enter David Quessenberry, T/C/G (SJSU) A great senior bowl bumps him up for me. A little undersized @294lbs, but has the frame (6-5) and skills to play anywhere on our line.
 Round 4, Pick 7
#99
Da’Rick Rogers WR Tennessee Tech
I believe Da’Rick Rogers (wr, tenn tech) could fall to us here and would be a top 5 rookie wideout if we can keep him in line.
Round 4, Pick 23
#117
Kenny Stills WR Oklahoma
I still like Mcfadden here, but the Vikings could instead go for another double shot of wrs like last year and nab Kenny Stills (OU, WR) instead. 6′ with a 4.4…a solid outside option.
Round 5, Pick 23
#148
Bennie Logan DT LSU
I’m going back to the bayou and grabbing another LSU standout. Bennie Logan (DT). He isn’t the portly statue that some desire in the middle, but he drew double-teams all year and held up strong, shedding blocks and using his sub-5 40 speed to close the gaps on ball carriers in the trenches.
Round 6, Pick 23
#179
Albert Rosette ILB Nevada
A late bloomer at an under-the-radar school (Nevada), Rosette has the size and coach-able demeanor to be a contributor.
  Round 7, Pick 8
#197
Cierre Wood RB Notre Dame
Vikings roll the dice on another Notre Dame talent, this time selecting Cierre Wood (Rb). Wood is slippery enough to make an immediate presence on 3rd downs, but could also develop into a player worthy of considerable time on the field in years to come. He gambles by leaving early, but will surely stick wherever he gets picked.
  Round 7, Pick 23
#214
Demontre Hurst
CB Oklahoma
If he were three inches taller, he might be a first day selection, but instead the Vikings steal the 5-9 Demontre Hurst (OU, CB). A special teams, dime/nickel role for this season and a future pairing with Josh Robinson could give us the fastest corner combo in the league.
